asami / born in 1987 / based in Tokyo

Accessory Artist & Designer

From an early age, Asami had a passion for making things, leading her to study design at an art-focused high school before majoring in product design at Tama Art University.

After graduation, she worked at Japan’s largest spatial design company and later engaged in creative direction at a space production firm.

ODELE began during her maternity leave, when accessory-making started as a hobby.

The pieces were met with unexpected enthusiasm, and by the time her leave ended, she had decided to pursue the brand full-time, leaving her former career behind.

Today, Asami continues to design and craft accessories, supported by a small team including her husband , sister-in-law, and friends from her university days.
